Diversity in Tech Webinar with Special Guest, Gabriella Fajardo Gomez

Join us as WEUC Diversity in Tech advisor Sarah Vogt and community member Johnny Ma sit down with Gabriella Fajardo Gomez, a Sales Engineer at Axonius. Gabriella, a Cal Poly San Luis Obispo graduate with a bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, has navigated a dynamic career in cybersecurity by age 23. Her diverse skill set, honed through various internships and roles in various industries (Boeing and Lam Research), is enriched by her multicultural experiences and bilingual abilities, which have equipped her to lead diverse teams with sensitivity and effectiveness.

Previously an Associate Systems Engineer at Palo Alto Networks, Gabriella has a strong background in leading customer calls, conducting product demos, and providing tailored solutions to enhance clients' security postures across environments including on-premises and cloud platforms like GCP, AWS, and Azure. She holds certifications in PCNSA, CompTIA Network+, and PSE SASE Pro. Now based in Austin, Texas with Axonius, she specializes in selling cybersecurity asset management solutions to clients nationwide.

In addition to her professional work, Gabriella was previously involved in engineering camps at prestigious universities, the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers, the Society of Women Engineers, the Sales Engineering Club, and various data analytics and process improvement projects. She also contributes to the Red Cross as an event planner and engages in philanthropy.
